We had a good year last year. This year, we plan to do even better.
Last year’s field day was a trip to Spare Time, a Greenville bowling alley on Congaree Road. It was so
successful, we’re going to have a field day every year.
Here’s what we’re planning for the new academic year, in case you’d like to help:
– Bringing in lunch once a month. Pizza is always a favorite. We’re also having Valentine’s Day
cupcakes next February.
– Creating certificates for the school’s AB honor roll and hosting holiday lunches for Thanksgiving
and Christmas.
– We’re building the school library and a book corner to encourage reading
– A movie night and a game night. Your students are proud of BEST, and they’d love to have
parents, grandparents, or guardians join us.
The BEST PTA is now working with The 500 Foundation, a Greenville non-profit that provides first aid,
CPR and medical safety training and supplies. Together, we’ll work to make sure that BEST students are
among the 500 kids who receive free first aid and CPR training.
